Biography: Damon DeLillo is the Next Generation Pastor at Shadow Mountain Community Church (El Cajon, CA) and the Lead Consultant and Founder of Ten Cow Ministries and NextGenMinistry.us which are dedicated to helping churches become more effective at reaching the next generation and their families. He has been working with kids, teenagers and families, producing events, teaching and creating environments for ministry for 20 years. In 2008, he led a church planting team with North Point Ministries and served as a Creative Director for several projects. He and his talented and creative wife, Janna, live in Alpine, California, and are presently enjoying the challenge of raising their five children: Emilie, Corey, Tucker, Gracie and Macie.

The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy him forever. In His presence is fullness of joy–I choose Him and I choose joy.
Our families are our first ministry because through them God demonstrates his story of redemption to the rest of the world.
Leadership is more than taking people someplace else; it is taking people someplace better.
So many relationships, even good ones, are really several monologues which only now and then and by accident relate to each other, for people are more concerned with their own selves than the living exchange that happens in genuine relationship. No matter how brief the connection we seek an authentic exchange and a genuine relationship.
I haven’t figured it all out, but to ignore what works because it’s bigger or smaller, or old or new, or just not our own idea is the opposite of humility. Humility means we offer our best, remembering our indebtedness to those who have made us who we are, and never ignore the things or people that may help us become better.
No one talks about the boring, the predictable, the mediocre or the safe. There is nothing boring, predictable or safe about next generation ministry; Jesus was remarkable–we should be too. Only the best for Christ.
